ABA Network has been monitoring developments with COVID-19 since its inception. When responding to an infectious disease, our company closely follows the recommendations and health guidelines made by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as state and county health departments. While many variables are surrounding COVID-19, we are committed to providing quality medically necessary treatments in a safe way. Social distancing is one of the suggested methods to decrease the spread of the virus. As such, we feel offering supervision services and parent education via a Telehealth model is the best practices at this time. Given a supervisor can see between 10-15 patients per week, we feel this is best approach to minimize risk. The average Behavior Therapist sees only 2-3 children per week in a small home environment and ABA Network feels the risk is minimized. We have instructed all our staff to wash their hands for over 20 seconds when they first enter your home, sanitize the area and any toys/materials used, cover their mouth with a tissue when sneezing, and wash their hands prior to leaving your home. Any staff that is sick is instructed to stay home.
Zoom Professional is the HIPAA-compliant Telehealth platform we have chosen. Zoom has a free app you can access from your phone, iPad, or home computer. Links will be automatically generated for you. If you need any assitance or have any questions, please contact your supervisor.
